Rich Vegetable soup

Rich Vegetable soup.
A simple soup - simply delicious, simple to prepare, and simple ingredients.
But have no worries, the simplicity only adds to the taste.

Ingredients:


2 onions, quartered.
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 potatoes, quartered
1 sweet potato cut into quarters
3 carrots, coarsely chopped
2 zucchini, coarsely chopped
¼ of a pumpkin, diced
1 cup chickpeas (canned or soaked all night)
2 tomatoes, cut into quarters
½ head of cabbage, coarsely chopped
Chopped parsley
2 liters of water (or enough to cover the vegetables)
1 tablespoon turmeric
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
½ tablespoon sweet paprika
½ tablespoon chicken soup
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt


Preparation:
Fry the onion until golden. Add the garlic, and fry for another minute. Add the vegetables.
Cover the vegetables with water and add the spices. Cook for about 35 minutes.
Before serving, add the parsley and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
