Baked Entrecote Steak

A great and simple entrecote dish, which has no equal

Seared in a pan and then baked in the oven, you'll wish this unique dish was more common!

Ingredients:

4-6 pieces of phyllo dough shaped squares, 20 x 20 cm
500 grams of beef entrecote
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
½ teaspoon ground red Shatta pepper
A bunch of coriander, chopped
2 tablespoons soy
1/2 teaspoon salt
Olive oil

Preparation:

In a large saucepan, heat up the olive oil and fry the garlic cloves for about 1 minute. Add the meat, soy, coriander, salt and pepper.
Completely cover the pan, and let it cool for about 30 minutes.

On a clean surface, flatten the phyllo dough, and on each square place a generous amount of the meat.
Close the dough over the meat filling, leaving it in the shape of a large ball.
Cut a few slit in the dough for steam to escape while in the oven.
Cook in an oven preheated to 180 C (356 F) for 45 minutes.
