A
sweet and juicy apple roll.
Easy
to make and served with love!
(Simple
recipe for 4 rolls):
For
the filling:

apples
3
tablespoons sugar
4
tablespoons honey
Pinch
of cinnamon
1/4
cup crushed walnuts
1/2
cup water
Wrap::
Cigar
leaves/filo sheets
Spreadable
butter
Powdered
sugar for decoration
Preparation:
Core
and slice the apples into thin slices. Transfer the apples to the
pan. Add the honey, sugar, cinnamon and water. Cook for 8 minutes and
set aside to cool.
Take
the phyllo sheets and spread butter on them. Fold each in half once,
and then a second time. Place 1/4 of the filling at the edge of each
sheet, and then roll.
Place
in the pan with the open part facing down. Bake in an oven preheated
to 280 C (137 F) until golden.
Place
on a serving plate, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. For an extra
special topping, add ice cream.
